Candidate selection will be conducted by a committee of the Graduate Program in Ophthalmology. Selection will be based on analysis of the curriculum vitae, the research project, and an individual interview, the time and place of which will be arranged in advance.

• The following aspects will be considered in selection:
• The candidate’s scientific and pedagogical activities;
• Candidate’s affiliation to a teaching and research institution;
• Alignment of the project with the institution’s and advisor’s research areas;
• Methodology, consistency, and feasibility of the project within the institution;
• Assessment of the difficulties and results of the pilot project.
